Acrostic Poem

Kia Ora everyone!

Welcome back to my blog. The teachers has been setting activities to do for us. I have done one of the activities.

I've made my agenda to when I'm doing math, reading, writing and more works. Today, I have to do activities. 

The activity that I have to do is to describe myself using acrostic poem by using my name. 

Everything I wrote on the acrostic poem is all correct. Here is my acrostic Poem.

School lockdown

Hi guys! Welcome back to my blog. Today, I will be talking about what I think of Quarantine. Let's start.

As you guys know we are lock down, we can't go anywhere. We also don't have school. But even if we don't have school, we still do school works at home.  The teachers has been setting some activities for us to do while we are in Quarantine. 

Some works are close and school are close too. 

I feel like Corona virus is a great opportunity to hang out with your family. Some people didn't get to hang out because of work, travels and etc. Have fun with your family, say what you want to say to them and do fun things together like playing games, watching movies together and etc. There is a lot of things to do with your family at home.

I also have another reason why God made Corona Virus exist. Because some people never pray. Other people pray because they want something, they needed something, that's why they pray. But they didn't pray for god. Have time for god, before you slept, after you wake up, when your eating, make sure to pray and don't forget to pray. And be "Patient". When you want something from him, wait, and he will give it to you in the right time. 

Last three weeks, Me and my Mum went to a grocery store, while we were in the counter lining up. I heard a girl asked her Mum when all of this, corona virus will last. Her mum replied that it's going to end soon, the girl said she don't want to end, because she never gets to see her dad cause he always go to work, but then when this thing happened, she gets to spend time with him.

And that made me think that Corona virus doesn't only affect bad things, also some good things.

Mean, Median, Mode and Range

Welcome back to my blog. I apologise if I haven't pot any blogs yet, but here you go. Today's blog is going to be about Mean, Median, Mode and Range. This is going to be a long blog.

Last two week, we have to race in a 50m but we have to do it twice, after we run twice in 50m we also have to run 100m 2 times also.

Last two week, Maths, we need 5 members in our groups. My groups are Lhysette, Rheanne, Jaren and Cate. 

What we have to do is to figure out what is the, Mean, Median, Mode and Range by using the time that we run. 

I know your confused and doesn't know what I'm talking about. But you will understand when I started explaining it. 

The first think we did is to share each other number.

Here's our time when we were running:

50m :

Jaren:7.35 and 7.21

Jhrnylle: 7.46 7.33

Lhysette: 7.30 and 7.21

Rheanne: 7.16 and 7.14

Cate: 8.0 and 7.0

100m:

Jaren: 18.22 and 20.12

Jhrnylle: 19.27 and 20.21

Lhysette: 18.2 and 20.30

Rheanne: 7.33 and 18.3

Cate: 18.30 and 20.84


I'm going to tell you what Mean, Median, Mode and Range means.

Mean: Count how many numbers are there, keep that number for later. Add all the numbers together. Divide it with the number you keep earlier, and what number will it shows is the answer. 

Median: Order the number from smallest to biggest, find the middle number, and the middle number is the answer.

Mode: The number that appears the most is right answer, Mode can have more than one answers. 

Range: Reorder the number to smallest and largest. Take the smallest number and the biggest number like this:

Smallest number: 2
Biggest number: 9

9 - 2 = 7

Answer: 7

Take them away and that is the answer.

How did we figure out the answer?

We use the start of our number. For example, my I run 19.7 we use the number "19" for the start.

Colour Wheel Painting

Welcome back to my blog. Today' blog is going to be about Colour Wheel Painting.

We are currently doing arts right now. The first thing we did is talking about what is the Primary Colours and Secondary Colours. 

The primary colours are Red, Blue and Yellow. The Secondary colours are Purple, Green and Orange. 

If you mix Red and Blue, it will make purple. If you mix Blue and Yellow, it will make Green. If you mix Red and Yellow, it will make Orange.

A secondary colour is a made out of two primary colours. 

The second thing we did is to put on aprons and grab some paintbrush and magazines. Then we started painting.
