My Strength

Hi everybody,

Welcome back to my blog. I will be telling you about what we have been doing yesterday during school that relates about human's strength, also, my strength.

Last term, we had a survey that has some questions about our feelings. When we're done, we get to see the result about our strength.

Here are the lists of the strength:
(The numbers are the rank of my strength)

  • Appreciation of beauty - 5
  • Creativity - 15
  • Fairness - 16
  • Gratitude - 1
  • Hope - 2
  • Humour - 22
  • Kindness - 6
  • Bravery - 4
  • Curiosity - 23
  • Forgiveness - 3
  • Honesty - 19
  • Humility - 24
  • Judgement - 11
  • Leadership - 21
  • Love - 8
  • Perseverance - 10
  • Prudence - 13
  • Social Intelligence - 12
  • Teamwork - 7
  • Zest - 14
  • Love of learning - 20
  • Perspective - 17
  • Self regulation - 18
  • Spiritually - 9

My top 5 strength are:

5: Appreciation of beauty
I find things beautiful, cool and exciting. Even if others thinks it's not, but for me it is.

4: Bravery
I wasn't expecting this to be in my top 5 list because I have a lot of fears, but I guess I have something that I am brave at.
Last time, I was't confident enough to speak in front of many people, but I stand up for myself and talked in front of people on assembly. And I just realised, that was the most brave thing I've done.

3: Forgiveness
This is really me because I easily forgive, and willing to forgive others. It doesn't take me that long to forgive them.

2: Hope
I always hope even tho sometimes others think it's impossible, but nothings wrong with hoping.
Just like a celebrity, people wishes and hope to met their idol's a lot. including me, but sometimes i think it's impossible, I still don't lose hope.

1: Gratitude
I do appreciate things, either its small things.
I appreciate my family and friends a lot because I have them, I appreciate stuff that I have.

This strength is important for us to know, so we know what we can do, and what strength we need to improve for ourselves or to achieve.

Remember this,

"We all have different strength, don't judge others if they can't to what you can do"

Thank you for reading my blog. This is all for today. Have a wonderful day, bye..

Gender Equality

Kumusta everyone,

Welcome back to my blog. Today, we are learning about Gender Stereotypes. We spent a lot of time discussing about what Gender Stereotypes means.

We watched a video relating about the topic we are doing. If you wanna watch the video, here is the link:

We are learning about gender equality because we want everyone/every gender should be treated fairly.

Do you know what Gender Stereotypes means? If you don't, then let me tell you.

What is stereotype? A stereotype is when you assume something. Just like when you think about home chores, some people basically thinks about women when they say home chores. And when people say work, they think about men.

What is a male stereotype?
A men's stereotype is what men's can do and the difference between male and female's personalities.

What is Female stereotype?
A women's stereotype is what women's can do and the difference between male and female's  personalities.

What are the negative effects of stereotyping?
I think the negative effects of stereotyping is when others treats others unfairly.

What is gender equality/Gender roles?
The gender roles are: men goes to works, and women stays at home cleaning the house, and doing some basic chores. But it doesn't mean men can't do chores at home, and women's cant work.

How has gender equality developed over the years?
Through the years, they finally treated everyone fairly.

In my opinion, I don't think there should be a stereotype. It treats everyone unfairly. When children/people says a builder, they always think about men, it doesn't mean women can't be a builder. When they says a doctor, they think about women, it doesn't mean men can't be a doctor.

Thank you for reading my blog. I hope you enjoy this, please give me some helpful, thoughtful and some positive feedback. And I'll see you all next time. Bye!

Speaking my truth

Kia Ora everyone,

Welcome back to my blog. Today is the second day of term 3. Today, I'm going to tell you what we did during drama class (Hurumanu 3).

We went to the auditorium and we all sat on the chair. After sitting, the first instruction was to get one little card in the table. This time, we're playing charades. We all pick one each. One of us gets to act whatever actions they got in the card, and all of us have to guess what action they are doing. Since not all of us gets to act our action from the card, we all went up to the stage and did our actions.

The next game we played was 7 up. We have to make a circle. One person has to say 1, and then pass it to other person to say 2, and then so on. But your not supposed to say 7, instead, say 7 up and pass it to the person infront of you.

The last game we played was called copy circle. Again, we have to make a circle. One person has to go outside. While the people in the circle has to pick one person to be the leader. They have to follow whatever the leader does. The person outside has to go inside the circle and try to guess who the leader is.

I had really fun playing this games. I haven't played this game which means this is new to me.

Thank you for reading my blog. Have a great day, bye...

NZ Research

Hi everyone,

Welcome back to my blog. In Hurumanu 1, we were researching something about New Zealand back then.

I researched some interesting places that was build in the 1900's. Researching some interesting facts is fun because you get to learn new things. I was really curious about what happened to the Cave Creek. So then I researched some information about it.

I made a slideshow and putted all of the information I found. But before I show you, all the pictures I added in the slideshow I made Isn't mine, I found them on google.

Anyway, Here is the slideshow I made:
